Returns and refunds at a glance
- Do we accept returns? We accept returns for defective, damaged, or incorrect products only. Because we sell alcohol, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns of non-defective products once an order has left the store, as required by Illinois law and for product safety.
- Do we accept exchanges? Yes. We will exchange a defective, damaged, or incorrect item for the same or a comparable product, subject to availability.
- Condition required: Items must be unopened, unused, and in their original resalable condition and packaging, with proof of purchase (your order number or receipt).
- Return window: 7 days from the date of pickup or delivery.
- Window extension: None. The 7-day window is not extended for holidays or promotions.
- Return method: Contact us first at support@laramieliquor.com or (309) 966-3122 to start any return. For local pickup and delivery orders, bring the item to 1841 S Laramie St, Peoria, IL 61605, or hand it back to the delivery driver. For shipped orders, we will email you return instructions and, for eligible defective or incorrect items, a prepaid return label; do not ship alcohol back to us without our instructions, as adult-signature carrier rules apply.
- Restocking fee: None. We do not charge a restocking fee on eligible returns.
- Refund processing time: Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, typically within 5 to 10 business days.
How to start a return
- Contact us within 7 days of pickup or delivery with your order number.
- For a damaged item, please include a photo and keep the item and its packaging until we resolve it.
- Once approved, we will exchange the item or issue a refund to your original payment method.
- Bring eligible items back in store, or return them to the driver at delivery. A valid 21+ photo ID is required to return alcohol.
Non-returnable items
- Opened bottles, or any item not in original resalable condition.
- Special orders.
- Non-defective items returned for change of mind (not permitted for alcohol under Illinois law).
Cancellations
You may cancel an order before it has been prepared for pickup or dispatched for delivery, for a full refund. Please contact us as soon as possible.
